Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is centered on helping golfers play better by first improving how their body moves. I believe efficient movement and sound fundamentals create the foundation for a repeatable swing and consistent ball flight. Before making technical changes, I assess how a player moves and address basic mobility, stability, and sequencing so the body can support the motion required.
I begin each lesson by understanding the player’s goals and observing their ball-flight patterns. From there, identifying the highest-priority issue affecting performance, whether it is a movement limitation or a swing pattern. I focus on one clear improvement at a time and use simple explanations, feels, and task-based drills to help players move naturally rather than force positions.
I believe lasting improvement happens when players understand how to practice and transfer skills from the range to the course. Each lesson includes drills that reinforce efficient movement, along with a clear practice plan and guidance on how to apply the changes during play.
My goal as an instructor is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where golfers of all skill levels feel confident, capable, and motivated to improve their game.
